Although the Vegetarian Lamb Kebab label was a bit off-putting, the big Vegan sticker was a welcome invitation. These $2 soy protein skewers were a tasty and inexpensive little treat. As they are distributed by Blissful Trading, they should be available in many Asian supermarkets. We have spotted them in the Tofu Shop and Golden Apple in Henderson. They can be eaten straight from the pack but the manufacturer recommends heating them for better flavour. Better yet, whip up a quick satay sauce and you can add a load more flavour.
